About me

I'm Ademir, a software engineer. I enjoy turning specific problems into clear, reliable products that are pleasant to use. I'm especially interested in productivity tools, local-first software, and software built for communities.

I currently develop Leafdown, an open-source Markdown desktop editor built with React, Rust, and native filesystem integration. I also built and deployed Nexus, a full-stack application with authentication, shared contracts, PostgreSQL, automated tests, and CI/CD.

Work such as Crop & Quest and Fix My Halo grew from real problems faced by players and creators, while Pixel Icons surpassed one thousand installs on the Visual Studio Marketplace. This combination of engineering, product thinking, and practical usefulness is the kind of work that interests me most.
